WHEN I first joined the Weekly News as a young, and very wet behind the ears trainee journalist, newspaper production was still stuck in the 19th century. Thursday morning brings complaints (usually unjustified), the occasional rant, a glow of pride and a new beginning.
As one deadline passes the clock ticks and work begins on the next edition, but this week I spent more time answering calls than any other, and it wasn't because of my controversial MRSA splash.

WE try not to let on, but journalists love it when a plan comes together - especially one we didn't plan in the first place.
This week we have two front page stories, one for Llandudno and one for the Conwy Valley, about speeding along main roads, endangering schoolchildren and villagers alike.
This page contains an archive of all entries posted to Working Week in the November 2006. They are listed from oldest to newest.
October 2006 is the previous archive.December 2006 is the next archive.
