SINCE the new retail park opened at Llandudno last October, there's been great interest in the resort as North Wales's premier shopping hub.
Sure, there are drawbacks to having a brand new glossy retail park - just ask the small retailers on Upper Mostyn Street - but by and large the interest and added footfall Parc Llandudno brings to the town can only be for the good in the long run.
This Thursday's Weekly News gives every reader the chance to win a £250 shopping spree at Parc Llandudno's hugely successful Debenhams store. We also have a news focus on the impending smoking ban, which comes into force in Wales next Monday (April 2 ). We've also addressed some of the grey areas surrounding the ban, such as who actually enforces this legislation, and what powers a publican has when there's somebody blatantly chugging away on a fag in their bar and refuses to stub it out.
